As part of their working visit to the University of Lagos (UNILAG), a team of Africa-UniNet Project researchers visited the School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS) on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, where they discussed opportunities for research collaboration and joint curricula development.

The visiting researchers drawn from the Sociology Departments of UNILAG, Debre Markos University, Ethiopia and University of Innsbruck, Austria are currently working on the Africa-UniNet Project on Enhancing Quality of Sociology Graduate Teaching and Learning through Staff Exchange and Collaboration among Three Universities.

The visitors were received by the SPGS management team led by the Dean, Professor Solomon Osinubi who expressed delight at their presence. Professor Osinubi affirmed the readiness of the University to buy into the objectives of the project, especially at the level of graduate studies.

The areas of focus of the Africa-UniNet Project include joint curriculum development, co-teaching and research supervision, among others.
